The diploma is the same for everyone. So is the price. The route is not.

A demanding foundation, a crafted path

Our frameworks are fixed: the competencies required to earn a Synodeo diploma don't vary from one candidate to another, program by program. That's what guarantees the diploma's value and its dual recognition. But how you get there is built with you - not ahead of you.

A candidate who already has fifteen years of team-management experience doesn't need to be told what a helping stance is; a candidate discovering the profession needs a settling-in period the first one doesn't. Treating both paths identically would bore the one and destabilize the other. It's craftwork: we don't standardize the experience, we standardize the requirement.

What the assessment actually adjusts

Everything starts with the positioning assessment, free and with no obligation: an application, then a 50-minute one-on-one conversation with a Synodeo mentor. It isn't a disguised enrollment form - it's the moment your path actually takes shape.

Depending on what comes out of that conversation, several outcomes are possible: a standard training plan if you're discovering the profession, a partial exemption for competencies already acquired - which lightens the syllabus to be covered, without changing the length of your subscription or its price -, a referral to recognition of prior learning (VAE, priced by quote) if your practice is already solid, or a preliminary skills assessment if your project still needs clarifying. None of this is automatic: it's a human reading, not an admissions algorithm.

Peer to peer, in practice

"Peer to peer" doesn't mean you're left alone facing content. It means the person supporting you is a practitioner themselves - not a teacher reciting a course they've never practiced. Your mentor adjusts what your sessions cover and the pace of feedback, and what they emphasize, based on what they observe in your black book session after session - not on a program fixed in advance.

It's the same conviction that runs through the whole Manifesto: you don't learn to support others alone in front of a screen. You learn it accompanied, by someone who has walked this path before you and keeps walking it alongside you.

Why we stay outside the official system

A word on what we are not. Synodeo is neither registered with the RNCP nor Qualiopi-certified, and that is a choice. Public funding assumes a standardised framework, built to be checked from the outside, box after box. It is useful, it is serious, and many schools we respect do excellent work within it. But a path decided in advance for everyone is not what we know how to do. We prefer to start from a meeting and build from there. What this choice costs us is clear: our programs are not eligible for public training funds. What it gives us is just as clear, the freedom to offer you exactly the path you need, no more, no less.
