All Synodeo programs are delivered in French only - content, mentoring, written work and final review. This site exists in English so that we can be understood abroad; an English-language offer is a long-term project. More on this.

These internal rules are established in accordance with Article L.6352-3 of the French Labour Code and Articles R.6352-1 to R.6352-15 of the same code. They apply to anyone enrolled in a program delivered by Synodeo, the trading name of TCVH STRATEGIC, a French single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company registered in Paris under 909 731 226, registered office at 61 rue de Lyon, 75012 Paris - referred to below as "the Client" or "the person in training". They are brought to the candidate's attention before final enrolment, together with the terms of sale and the training contract.

Synodeo programs are delivered entirely remotely. Synodeo receives no one on premises, holds no in-person sessions and makes no facilities available. The internal rules of a French training organisation are traditionally written for rooms and buildings; these are adapted to teaching that takes place on a platform. Provisions that have no object in this context - fire and evacuation instructions, floor plans, catering, tobacco and alcohol on the premises - are flagged as such rather than copied out: an inapplicable rule has no value.

The director of the training organisation within the meaning of Article R.6352-3 and following is Thibault Velez, Director of Studies, reachable at contact@synodeo.com.

Health and safety - scope

As Synodeo has no premises, the health and safety measures that normally fall to a training organisation in respect of a physical establishment have no object. The provisions below cover what genuinely relates to personal safety in remote training.

Where the training is followed from

The person in training freely chooses where they work and where they join video sessions. It is for them to ensure that this place allows suitable working conditions and, for video sessions, sufficient confidentiality - discussions frequently concern real accompaniment situations. Following a session while driving a vehicle, operating machinery or in any situation requiring attention is strongly discouraged; the mentor is entitled to interrupt a session held in such conditions.

Screen work

As the training takes place on screen, Synodeo draws attention to the usual recommendations: take regular breaks, mind lighting and posture, adjust viewing distance and text size. The pace of work being entirely free, everyone organises their sessions as they see fit.

Accidents

In the event of an accident during a video session or directly in connection with the training, the person in training, or anyone present, must inform Synodeo without delay at contact@synodeo.com. Synodeo makes the declarations incumbent upon it and informs the employer or funder where relevant.

Account security

Login credentials for app.synodeo.com are strictly personal and may not be shared, lent or transferred. Any suspected compromise must be reported without delay to contact@synodeo.com so that access can be suspended and new credentials issued. No member of Synodeo will ever ask for a password, through any channel.

Respect for others

Everyone must show respect for other people in training, for mentors and for contributors. Insulting, disparaging, threatening, harassing or discriminatory words or behaviour are prohibited, whatever the channel - video sessions, platform forums, e-mail, collaborative work. This requirement is not a formality in a school that trains people to accompany others: how you treat your peers during the program is part of what is assessed.

Confidentiality

Assignments and sessions regularly concern real accompaniment situations involving third parties. Every person in training undertakes to disclose no identifying information about a situation presented by another person in training, by a mentor or by themselves. Situations reported in assignments and at the final review are anonymised.

Recording

No video session may be recorded, filmed, photographed or otherwise captured, by any party, without the prior written agreement of everyone present.

Use of teaching materials

The materials made available on app.synodeo.com - courses, frameworks, templates, supporting documents - are the property of TCVH STRATEGIC / Synodeo and reserved for the strictly personal use of the person in training, within their program. Any reproduction, distribution, publication, resale or use for teaching purposes by a third party is prohibited.

Academic integrity

Assignments, the logbook and final review work must be the personal work of the person in training. Reusing someone else's work without citation, having an assignment produced by a third party, and presenting output generated by an artificial intelligence system as one's own are contrary to these rules. Using such tools as a working aid is not prohibited; what is prohibited is staying silent about it where it bears on the substance of the work. The diploma attests to demonstrated competencies: work that is not your own demonstrates nothing.

Use of the platform

The platform must be used in accordance with its educational purpose. The following are prohibited: any attempt to access an unauthorised area, any action intended to disrupt the service, any upload of unlawful content, and any use of the platform to solicit other people in training commercially.

Sanctions - definition and scale

Under Article R.6352-3 of the French Labour Code, a sanction is any measure, other than verbal observations, taken by the director or their representative following conduct considered by them to be at fault, whether or not that measure immediately affects the person's presence in the program or calls its continuity into question. Fines and any other pecuniary sanction are prohibited.

Depending on the seriousness of the conduct and, where applicable, its repetition: a written reminder sent by e-mail; a formal warning, notified in writing and placed on file; temporary exclusion from the platform and from video sessions, for a set period; permanent exclusion from the program. A written reminder is not a sanction where it has no effect on continuing the program.

Disciplinary procedure

Under Article R.6352-4, no sanction may be imposed without the person concerned having first been informed of the grievances held against them.

Where the sanction under consideration has an effect, immediate or otherwise, on presence in the program, the procedure follows Articles R.6352-5 to R.6352-7, adapted to the fully remote nature of the training. Summons: the director summons the person, stating the purpose of the summons, the date, the time and how to connect; the summons is in writing and sent by registered electronic letter within the meaning of Article L.100 of the French Postal and Electronic Communications Code - equivalent to registered post with acknowledgement of receipt under Article 1126 of the Civil Code - or by registered post, or handed over against receipt. Meeting: it is held by video; the person may be assisted by a person of their choosing, and the summons states this option; the director sets out the reason for the sanction under consideration and hears the person's explanations. Time limit: the sanction may not be imposed less than one clear day nor more than fifteen days after the meeting. Notification: it takes the form of a written, reasoned decision, notified by registered electronic or postal letter, or handed over against receipt.

Precautionary measure. Where conduct makes immediate suspension of access indispensable, it may be ordered without delay; no final sanction relating to that conduct may however be taken without the above procedure having been followed (Article R.6352-7).

Informing third parties. Where the program is funded by an employer or a funding body, the director informs them of the sanction taken (Article R.6352-8).

Financial consequences. Permanent exclusion ends the program. Sums corresponding to months already delivered remain due to Synodeo; instalments falling after the effective date of exclusion cease to be payable. This is not a pecuniary sanction: it draws the consequences of the service stopping, with no surcharge or penalty.

Representation of people in training

Article L.6352-3 requires arrangements for the representation of people in training for programs totalling more than five hundred hours, with the election of representatives organised, under Article R.6352-9, for programs taking the form of collective courses. No Synodeo program falls within that scope: the longest runs to one hundred and fifty-seven hours, and every program is delivered individually, with no collective session. The obligation to elect representatives therefore has no object.

The absence of a legal obligation deprives no one of a way to be heard. Any observation, suggestion or complaint about how the program is running, about working conditions or about the application of these rules may be sent at any time, in no particular form, to contact@synodeo.com. Synodeo undertakes to reply within fifteen days. This is separate from the complaints and consumer mediation procedure set out in the terms of sale, which remains open.

Voluntary commitments

Without being required to do so - Synodeo currently seeks no public funding within the meaning of Article L.6316-1 of the French Labour Code - Synodeo writes into these rules equal treatment of all people in training, respect for freedom of expression and conscience, and the neutrality of the teaching delivered.

Personal data

Processing carried out in connection with the program, including in the context of a disciplinary procedure, is described in the privacy policy. Records of a disciplinary procedure are kept for as long as necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Entry into force

These rules take effect on 17 August 2026. Any amendment is brought to the attention of people in training by e-mail and by publication on synodeo.com; it applies only to events subsequent to its publication.
