You have anytime access to the level's content, protocols and demonstrations, and you test every technique on case studies whose commented feedback unpacks the choices one by one.
Become a hypnosis practitioner: a remote training program to work independently on common well-being issues, with rigor and a mastered hypnotic language.
Price subject to a pathway adjusted following the diagnostic interview.
By the end of this program, you conduct structured hypnotic sessions on common issues - stress, sleep, confidence, smoking, weight, pain in medical support.
You master the hypnotic intake interview, several types of inductions, the art of hypnotic language and the construction of ecological suggestions. You use metaphors and symbolic techniques, manage unexpected events and abreactions, and conduct the exit, debriefing and follow-up. You take your place in a demanding professional community.
Ideally, having completed the Synodeo Hypnosis - Technician program, or having your equivalence recognized during the positioning assessment. Real availability for hands-on practice: the program requires being able to conduct several client sessions during training. A capacity for introspection and personal commitment.
A good session starts well before the trance. You train in the hypnotic intake interview to turn a vague complaint into a workable goal, in psychoeducation, and in establishing a solid hypnotic alliance before the first induction.
The technical heart of the craft. You explore the principles of hypnotic language, several types of inductions (direct, progressive, rapid, Ericksonian) and deepening techniques, learning to select the induction based on the client's profile.
Once trance is established, the work begins. You train in formulating ecological suggestions, in therapeutic metaphor and its structure, and in simple symbolic techniques - choosing between direct suggestion and symbolic work depending on the situation.
You put your toolkit to work on concrete issues: stress, sleep, self-esteem, smoking cessation, weight loss, and hypno-analgesia in medical support - within its framework, its limits, and in rigorous coordination with the caregiver.
A professional practice isn't limited to the moments when everything goes well. You train in handling unexpected events (abreactions, resistance), in an emergency exit protocol, in structured debriefing, in a compliant client file, and in organizing follow-up that consolidates progress.
One example of method and one case-study excerpt per module - taken directly from the program's courses.
The five components of the intake interview (present state, goal, indicators, blocks, resources) to turn a vague request into a measurable goal, without ever making a diagnosis on the client's behalf.
A client arrives with a simple "I'd like to feel better," with no named problem. The practitioner resists the urge to launch a relaxation session into the void and, step by step, helps clarify until reaching a concrete goal - restoring restorative sleep - placed on a progression scale.
Shifting from directive language to permissive language: replacing the command with an invitation, the negation with an image, the assertion of a state not felt with a suggestion grounded in what is actually verifiable.
An induction script written in the imperative ("relax," "stop thinking about anything") produces the opposite of the intended effect. Rewritten in permissive, sensory language, it finally lets the client settle in without a struggle.
Choosing a metaphor by its structure, never by its displayed theme, then dressing it entirely in the client's sensory world - the same story changes depending on whether it unfolds in a henhouse or on a high mountain.
A classic metaphor on confidence, told as-is to a mountaineering enthusiast client after a professional setback, produces nothing. Rewritten with a mountaineering setting and a dynamic adjusted to his real situation, it revives his momentum within days, without him being explicitly aware of it.
Looking for the mechanism that maintains the symptom before repeating a protocol that isn't working - insomnia rarely resists for lack of relaxation, but often because of the very effort the person puts into trying to fall asleep.
Insomnia present for six months doesn't yield to two deep-relaxation sessions. By identifying the effort paradox and the bed conditioning, the practitioner shifts angle - removing the pressure to sleep rather than deepening it - and sleep returns within two months.
Supporting an abreaction without panicking and without digging further: a steady voice, securing through breathing, a careful trance exit, then referral to a healthcare professional if what surfaces goes beyond well-being.
An ordinary relaxation session unexpectedly brings up an old, intense emotion in a client. The practitioner stays calm, supports the tears without interrupting or exploring them, carefully brings her back, then refers her to a psychotherapist for what lies beyond his scope.
Condensed, anonymized excerpts from the program's case studies - for teaching purposes, not transcripts of real sessions.
The program takes place entirely online and adapts to your professional life: you have one year of access from enrollment to move forward at your own pace, supported at every step.
You have anytime access to the level's content, protocols and demonstrations, and you test every technique on case studies whose commented feedback unpacks the choices one by one.
Your Synodeo mentor becomes your close-in supervisor: over video, they debrief your ongoing sessions, question your induction and suggestion choices. Four hours of video coaching are included in the program, alongside unlimited e-mail support.
The black book takes on its full scope here: you document complete sessions in it, from intake to follow-up, and the reflective analysis you draw from it structures your move to the professional level.
The Practitioner diploma isn't prepared in books: it's built session after session, with real people, under an outside eye that secures your progress.
Your progress is checked continuously: self-corrected validation checkpoints after each major stage, case studies assessed with personalized feedback, and regular review of your black book - where your mentor pays particular attention to how you handle unexpected events and the solidity of your protocols.
To conclude, you defend your black book and its accompanying reflective analysis over video, before a Synodeo mentor. The confidentiality of the people followed is rigorously preserved.
At the end of the program, Synodeo awards you its professional diploma. It doesn't certify attendance: it validates competencies actually demonstrated in your black book, tested in real client work and developed with your mentor.
This diploma is part of a dual-recognition model. On one hand, a professional certification backed by an external professional body, which situates your competencies against industry standards. On the other, a professional diploma awarded by Synodeo, which puts the school's own responsibility behind the quality of your training and assessment.
Synodeo designs its own curricula and trains with full pedagogical autonomy; professional recognition, meanwhile, rests on a third party external to the school. The same rigor runs from the first case study to the final defense.
Practitioner is the professionalizing core of the curriculum: it's designed for Technicians moving up as well as for helping-profession practitioners who already hold the basics. Since each level is a stand-alone program with its own diploma, direct entry at Practitioner is possible when the positioning assessment recognizes an equivalence. Next comes Master Practitioner, which opens up advanced Ericksonian hypnosis, hypnoanalysis and the supervisor stance.
This programme is recognised by the International Association of Coaches, Therapists & Mentors (IACTM) under Synodeo's accredited-trainer status. Your diploma may carry the IACTM logo, and once you graduate you may apply in your own right for the corresponding IACTM accreditation: Therapist / Counsellor.
An accreditation qualifies a programme; it is not a State approval, and it is distinct from the certification of your competencies, which your Synodeo diploma attests. It situates the training against the shared standards of the profession.
This programme is also an IHA Approved Course (International Hypnosis Association): the IHA approves the course, and once qualified you may apply individually for your IHA certification (Certified Hypnotist / Hypnotherapist). The IHA logo attests to the course approval; in line with IHA rules, it does not appear on the Synodeo diploma itself.
